The Lighthouse Experiment

"The Lighthouse Experiment"

I’m thrilled to share my new personal project, created as a part of an mentorship program with amazing Milan Nikolic. This experience has been both inspiring and challenging, pushing me to explore new techniques, refine my skills, and grow even more as an artist. Hope you'll enjoy!

Storyline:
During World War II, a group of scientists conducted a secret experiment in an isolated abandoned lighthouse perched on the jagged cliffs of the Black Ridge.
Dr. Emil Karsten, a German psychiatrist, was given unlimited government resources and access to the mentally ill patients of a local asylum. His mission was to probe the depths of human consciousness and discover new methods of mind control and interrogation.
The patients - war veterans suffering from PTSD, political prisoners, and the forgotten souls of the asylum—were subjected to sleep deprivation, sensory distortions, hallucinogenic drugs, and lobotomy.
One night, everything went wrong..
The year is 1946, a year after the end of the war, police received reports of ghostly lights flickering in the lighthouse, despite the fact that it was abandoned. Local fishermen spotted a small boat, in which two former hospital orderlies are found dead.
At the call of the local police, detectives Harold Graves and William Mercer head to the infamous lighthouse, where they encounter not only a terrible crime, but also years of hidden suffering.
